Armenia is one of the great underrated hiking destinations: a country where 300 days of sun a year meet alpine meadows, forest gorges, volcanic highlands, and trails that regularly end at a medieval monastery. The day typically runs six to seven hours from Yerevan and back, depending on the chosen hiking route and pace. Hiking experiences are available from May to September, with other dates possible on request.
