“My trip to Armenia has just ended. We climbed Aragats, the highest peak of Armenia, as well as some volcanoes. We also crossed the highlands which are inhabited by shepherds, and enjoyed an amazing horseback ride. But the cultural aspects were truly fascinating as well. We met the Molokan community expelled by the Tsar in the mid-1800s and the Yazidis, whose religion is inspired by Zoroastrianism. The Matenadaran (the ancient library) with its thousands of manuscripts and the monasteries that we visited were absolutely breathtaking. Yes, we can say that it is a small but interesting country: Armenia is waiting for you!”
